The service
M.AI Identity ("we", "us") provides a platform for businesses to create and maintain a structured Verified Business Identity, together with a human-facing profile page. After ownership verification, the public profile and published business information may be accessed by people, search engines and AI systems. Each system decides whether and how to use that information. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Your account
You may manage one or more business identities from a single account using the business switcher in your dashboard. Each identity must represent a real business for which you are the owner or an authorised representative. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Your content
You own the content you add to your identity. After verification and publication, you grant us a licence to display it on the public profile page and make its current details available in crawlable HTML and structured markup. People, search engines and AI systems may access the page; whether they do so or how they use it is their decision. You are responsible for keeping your content accurate and ensuring you have the right to publish it.
Acceptable use
You may not use M.AI Identity to post false, misleading, or defamatory content; impersonate another business; violate any applicable laws; or attempt to circumvent security controls.
Cost
Creating and updating a Verified Business Identity is free forever. Free includes two starter questions, one additional owner-created Q&A (three total), up to two owner FAQs, and two visitor-submitted customer questions that the owner can answer manually. AI can help draft replies or create the extra Q&A. Verification is required before owner answers and FAQs can be published. After verification, the public profile page and its URL remain accessible to people, search engines and AI systems on either plan; Premium removes the customer-question limit and adds unlimited saved Q&A and FAQs, more AI suggestions, AI replies to other questions, automatic replies, shared-profile management, embeds and integrations. Premium is US$29/month or US$90/year. The US$90/year launch rate is guaranteed for the first 12 months after your first paid charge; any later renewal price change will be communicated in advance. Businesses verified before this plan change, whether Founding members or not, keep Premium access for life without changes to their profile pages or data. Existing active subscriptions continue on their current terms. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or changes to the service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account and delete all associated data at any time from the Settings section of your dashboard — no need to contact us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
